Pleasantly suprised! We popped into here while walking atround the shops on Santa Cruz main and were served a feast! You choose your own ingredients and they cook it on the griddle in front of you. Fast and easy and tasty and filling! My kids loved the soft serve machine at the back too!

Santa Cruz has a new Mongolian BBQ restaurant. We stopped by while passing through downtown. Most of their guests were students. The staff work really hard! They were continually cleaning and maintaining the buffet. Impressive. Here’s how it works, the guest receives two bowls that you can load up with meat and veggies from the buffet. Add your sauces to the bowls and give them to the chef who cooks it as he revolves your ingredients around a circular grill. They have rice, soup and wontons with sweet-n-sour sauce in another section. Afterwards they offer vanilla and/or chocolate flavored soft serve. This is not an all-you-can-eat buffet. An additional trip to the buffet was an additional fee. Nice to stumble upon it and can see its popularity with the students, though we missed the smaller mom-n-pop versions.

Extremely good value in an otherwise somewhat over priced and option poor area!! 16 dollars for two heaping bowls of essentially whatever you would like (beef, chicken, lamb, shrimp + noodles + veggies). Definitely an amazing option for a poor college student-i think you could quite easily squeeze 3 meals out of a single visit. The food is also definitely palatable, while the staff is super friendly and the restaurant is really surprisingly sanitary and well kept. In addition, there's free rice, soup, ice cream and chips. Overall a super high value place in a kind of expensive area, so gets my stamp of approval. Also can't help but mention the hilarious "Grand Opening" sign that has been up for over 3 years now.

I wish I could give this place 100 stars! Even though they were really busy, the staff went out of their way to seat us. One of the workers literally had us sitting down within a minute. The service here is incredibly fast, but what really stands out is how much they genuinely care about their customers. You can tell they’re not just focused on money,they made us feel welcome and even encouraged us to grab as much food as we wanted. The owners are some of the nicest people you’ll meet,They’re friendly, they take the time to talk with you, and really listen ,they even offered us a discount. And the food was absolutely delicious! It was so good I had to go back a second time for more ! The whole staff is amazing, and the atmosphere makes you feel safe! I Highly recommend this place to anyone they have free wontons and free rice ,the owners and staff deserve the best the my respects to them I told the guy ,god bless you and the guy put his hands in prayer position and Amen.
